KY-1203

KY-1203 is a UV curable fluorinated acrylic compound. When small amount of KY-1203 is mixed with UV curable acrylic resin, surface properties such as water and oil repellency, anti-fouling can be added or enhanced.

3. Application process：

Mix KY-1203 with acrylic hard coatings by the ratio: solid in KY-1203 is 0.5 - 5 wt% of solid in acrylic hard coatings. Then agitate thoroughly so that the solution becomes uniform.

Treatment by coating with addition of KY-1203 provides marker ink repellency and ease of ink wiping off.

4. Application example：

When a small amount of KY-1203 is mixed with UV/EB curable compound, fluorinated chains are distributed on the outer surface, then anti-smudge, water and oil repellency, fingerprint removability, and low dynamic friction are realized.

Based on the advantages of KY-1203, it should be widely applied in hard coated film, anti-reflective film, displays, touch panel, electronic device housing, decorative film…etc.

5. Application notes：

 》Hazy mixture may result in depending on choice or mixing ratio of hard           coating and thinner.

 》By adding KY-1203, curing speed of hard coating may change. In case of       insufficient cure, modify curing conditions.
