MS-RTV addresses the adhesion limitations of conventional liquid silicone adhesives on most plastic substrates. Featuring a distinct chemical structure and curing mechanism compared to standard RTV silicones, MS-RTV does not generate low-molecular-weight (LMW) siloxanes during curing—compounds known to adversely affect electrical performance. Moreover, it is formulated without organic tin compounds, ensuring compliance with current environmental regulations. This material is suitable for bonding, potting, and sealing applications, maintaining reliable performance at elevated temperatures up to 120°C.
